Respite - The Importance of Time for Yourself

Respite is critical in being able to provide care for a loved one, but so often we don’t take the time we need. Are you finding it difficult to have time for yourself? Do you need a break from the day to day role of caregiving? With the holiday season approaching it’s a good time to brush up on ways of incorporating respite in your schedule.

This webinar provides a chance to discuss the challenges you face daily with strategies for building in time to focus on your own needs. Tune in to understand more about respite. Learn what it is, how you can access it from the health care system, how to tap into it using your own support network and why it needs to be scheduled into your caregiving plan.

A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
